Heading out to NY, via a Miami layover… At the DFW airport the wishbone was seen as a festive good luck symbol for our very early morning departure.

Hustling through the Miami Airport we stopped to photograph this cool, life-sized message in silk flowers… And we loved taking a few moments then to watch so many other hurried travelers slow their steps to a stop to see this beautiful traveler-stopper! 

Big thanks to all the fabulous Cutting-Up team at both the Cash & Carry booth as well as the Market booth!  We believe we have the best customers on earth & treasure the feedback & great stories you share with us about your success with Cutting-Up!  We are together in sharing this journey & relish your every milestone!  We how we love our customers!  See you in March at the Dallas Apparel Market!

Stephanie from The Bachelor looked SO adorable in Cutting-Up’s “Peace Please” t-shirt!  We were so excited and surprised when we heard she was wearing our design!  No idea where you got the tee; but, big thanks to Stephanie… for taking us to Prime Time!  You are a sweet, far-reaching gift… maybe you didn’t even realize; but, I hope you do now, sister!  Best of luck to you!  We’re pulling for you!

Whew!  Colleen and the girls had their hands UBER-full in Atlanta!  Thank you to all our customers, returning and brand new-b’s, for visiting us at the booth in Hot’Lanta!  Special thanks to our beautiful Natlie, who also owns Grits & Grace out of Noonan, Georgia, who always gives us her extended heart & fabulous talents along with her help & expertise in Atlanta, Bob Brandt with Heartfire in Myrtle Beach for keeping Cutting-Up a beacon on the hip beach in South Carolina, and our lovely friends we see on the “market tour”… Michelle Allen from Allen Designs, April Sytsma-McCrum from Catching Fireflies, and Amy Peters from Amy Peter’s Studio, all pictured with Colleen there at the bottom of the collage above!  From the depths of our souls…. we love love love you guys!

My amazing mom, Billie, bought me a year’s membership to the Kimball Art Museum in Fort Worth for Christmas!  It’s among my coolest, dearest, and most adored gifts.  I couldn’t wait to ‘break-in’ the gift, so, my mom and I ventured to Fort Worth for lunch at the museum and took time to absorb the inspiration and masterpieces all around.  If you haven’t been to a museum lately take a trip for your soul to absorb the colors, pallets, perspectives, and history from an reknowned artist’s vantage point.  Grab a friend or a family member and head out!  You may be suprirised who would like to go along with!  Here are some photos from our fabulous afternoon…
