Oh, how we love Chicago… new adventures and always welcoming new friends into the Cutting-Up fold to share the positive vibes of our amazing, growing line!  Special heartfelt thanks go out to our cool friend and hip-chick, Bekah, the most adorable bit of sunshine in Chi-town, for helping our postive-vibe traveler, Colleen, at the Stylemax show in this October!  These two made quite a duo and tripped happy-happy as they kept the vibes resonating.  Me? I was blessed to stay behind to continue creating some new works of art for 2009!  Thanks, girls!!!!  ZOMG!  You look SO ADORABLE!  I la la la love you!!!!

Some days I look at the world differently and appreciate people, things, and experiences even more fully.  Of late, I’ve been collecting bids from plumbers for a pipe leak in my 1950’s home, aka: “the craft cabin”.  

Today a plumber stood me up, for the 2nd time, sniff.  (Okay… um, yewww do nawt know me, snap!).  Prior to getting “The Heisman” from the ‘plumber’dzur’, Steve, one of the Cutting-Up partners, decided he would survey my situation, an offer I found endearing from our infrasturcture cultivator, numbers man, & appointed Pres also moonlighting as husband, father, friend, custom home builder, ironman - oh, and he has a full-time, high-pressure sales job.  (As an aside & very appropriately, long ago Jay dubbed Steve with the nickname “Inspector Gadget” and the scope of that title has certainly become more apparent as our time together expands.)

I was so happy to snap these few quick pics the other day at the office of Brent, April, Wendy, Netty, & little Ava Marie!  Everyday these beautiful people work closest to the details and play a huge role in the running of things - in their own very talented ways!  You guys are the best!  Thanks for all you do everyday! (Ava Marie is the token addition to the ‘cute’ factor, thank you, April!)
