Miracle Hunter

Thursday, November 20th, 2008

For those of you following our Mary Miracle, where Mother Mary has beautifully appeared on our Faith t-shirt, here’s an email received from Miraclehunter!  We’re proud to share our sweet story!  Hope it brightens your day!

Hi Jo Dee-

Thank you for your interest in Miraclehunter.com and for sharing your fascinating story with us. My only advice to you would be to continue sharing news of this event with those you know and meet - hopefully those who see it will be filled with faith and be drawn closer to God.

If you are interested in getting your story further investigated by the proper authorities (esp. if you have any additional miracles/healings involved), you will have to bring it to the attention of your local archdiocese who will have a person dedicated to such investigations. Unfortunately, there have been many instances of Mary (typically in the form of Our Lady of Guadalupe) showing up in various places (e.g. hospital  windows - Boston, buildings - Clearwater, Fla, water stains, trees, rocks and shells) but there has not been a single one definitively indentified as being miraculous by Church authorities.

Thank you again for sharing your story and God bless!

-Mike

Bekah and Colleen Hit Chi-Town for Cutting-Up!!!

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

Oh, how we love Chicago… new adventures and always welcoming new friends into the Cutting-Up fold to share the positive vibes of our amazing, growing line!  Special heartfelt thanks go out to our cool friend and hip-chick, Bekah, the most adorable bit of sunshine in Chi-town, for helping our postive-vibe traveler, Colleen, at the Stylemax show in this October!  These two made quite a duo and tripped happy-happy as they kept the vibes resonating.  Me? I was blessed to stay behind to continue creating some new works of art for 2009!  Thanks, girls!!!!  ZOMG!  You look SO ADORABLE!  I la la la love you!!!!

Baseball, Baby! RED SOX Baseball!

Friday, October 17th, 2008

Never say die

Red Sox 8, Rays 7
I love a good comeback story… and, last night the Boston Red Sox overcame a 7-0 deficit to win game 5 for what The Boston Globe called “the biggest postseason comeback in 79 years.”  Not only were the Sox behind 3 games to 1 heading into game 5; but, in the last two innings of the game were down 7 runs.  The Red Sox fought back for 8 runs and won the game in a spectacular effort!  Truly, last night’s baseball was magical!  Next game Saturday!  Let’s go RED SOX! You’ve gotta’ see the victory dances from 2007, if you haven’t it’s sweet emotion on the ball field!
See what other’s said about game 5 below too:

Knock-Knock…

Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

An Urban Outfitters in Vegas has this great “Alice in Wonderland” style dressing room with a narrowing walkway exposing a bit of each door down the aisle. The photo doesn’t do the feeling of the space justice. The experience for me was something more sureal & dreamy, so I recreated a colorful version to match my mind’s eye.  Knock-knock…

Dear Prudence - The Beatles

Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

“Dear Prudence” is one of my fave Beatles songs.  Click on the lyrics or the image below to watch a video of the very cool song.  I hope you truly enjoy!

Dear Prudence Lyrics

Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It’s beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence won’t you come out to play

Dear Prudence open up your eyes
Dear Prudence see the sunny skies
The wind is low the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence won’t you open up your eyes?

Look around round round
Look around round round
Look around round round

Dear Prudence let me see you smile
Dear Prudence like a little child
The clouds will be a daisy chain
So let me see you smile again
Dear Prudence won’t you let me see you smile?

Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It’s beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence won’t you come out to play
