My dazed and green blogging spirits are lifting from stumbling upon as well as being led to super-helpful cyber-blogs! Special thanks to Jamie for the time she put into her most helpful, personable article, a result of her fun time at a BlogHer’08 retreat. Jamie’s article “You want some more BlogHer?” led me to many of her “bestest” sources including Blogging Basics 101. I love their 9 Signs of an Effective Blog! The site is uber-easy to read and led me to Technorati to claim my post… which, to me, almost sounds like settling in the old West.  So, now that I’m settling in, maybe I can give more expression to the passion I share with many of you for living an artful life!  I’m so happy you’re out there!

My mom sent an email wanting to know if I was being productive blogging & personally. And, well, I started giving myself a manicure… and by ‘manicure’ I mean picking my nail polish off a little at a time while I was trying to create a header for the new blog.  And, I made new stacks when I needed to stand… and by ‘new stacks’ I mean piles labeled “stuff that still needs to be gone through”.  And, I combined boxes of items needing to be boxed together & put other boxes in my hallway which will either be donated, trashed, or get shoved back in the closet. I haven’t decided yet. So, if those things can be, yes, Mom, I was very productive.  I’m working on cracking the codes to understanding the world through blogging. This is Entry #2; but alas, I can’t change images to make a URL to upload a photo… not yet anyway. Eye of the Tiger… Eye of the Tiger!!!

HELLOOOO fabulous, artsy, funky, creative, interesting, proficient bloggers!!!  Total novice here. Green as can be.  I hope you’ll gratiously guide me into your captivating world.  I feel a bit lost, (like driving to a new place & looking for a street unfamiliar, gazing down at notes far too many times trying to retain a simple street name.) yet I’ve arrived with the kind encouragement of my business partners and friends and a final sweet prompt from the adorable Michelle Allen  who I met at the San Francisco Gift Market. (If this posts with a link to Michelle’s blog I’ll be totally psyched!  It’s a first!  Ba-da-bing, ba-da-boom!  Michelle fired me up for blogging!!  I did create a new header for this blog page; but, I keep getting an error when I attempt the upload.  Uftah!  I’ll figure it out soon enough, I’m certain… fairly certain.  Can’t wait to share my pics and truly get to know you guys!
