Wire Rendering
Inspired by the reflection of Frida Kahlo and her personal portraits, I thought I might work up a small wire ’self-sculpture’ and add a few beads - for kicks. I don’t know if Frida would like it; but, in this world… in my fantasy - I never drop the hula. Isn’t that impressive? Woooooooooooo!
This little wire wrap reflects my childhood… my mother the crafter & my father played guitar. When I hear or see an acoustic guitar I’m enlivened and inspired… when I pick up an acoustic guitar I’m clueless and clumbsy, unless…. you craft yourself with a guitar of wire & now - wah-lah - ROCK STAR, Folk Singer, Singer Songwriter… “Thank you ladies and gentleman, I’ll be here all night!”
